Our two
housekeeping cottages are situated on 10 acres of shore front
property with a
spectacular view of the Northumberland Strait, part
of the quiet, picturesque community
of Guernsey Cove in the
south-eastern part of Kings County, Prince Edward Island.
Both cottages have two bedrooms, a cathedral ceiling in
kitchen-living
room
area
ceiling fan, coffee maker, microwave, telephone, barbecue, color TV, VCR,
DVD
bedding, towels, etc. There is a washing machine on the premises and a
clothes line
to hang your clothes on to dry in the fresh country air.
Relax on the
large verandah
overlooking the strait and enjoy the beautiful sunrise .
There's easy
access to the small private sandy
cove
and explore the rugged shoreline.

Depending on the time of year, you can watch the
fisherman in their
boats
hauling in the lobster or crab traps.
We
are pleased to announce that there is now a fire pit in the yard
where you can
BarBQ with firewood provided for your use.
Guernsey
Cove Cottages are located two miles from Murray
Harbour and seven
miles from Murray River. These villages offer
restaurants, craft stores, grocery stores,
service stations, post
offices, churches, bakery, seal tours, bank, golf, etc.
The cottages are on route 18, fifteen minutes east of the Wood
Islands ferry
which sails between Prince Edward Island and Pictou,
Nova Scotia.
Kings Castle Park ten minutes away, has a great
playground, picnic area and beach.
Just a few
minutes from Guernsey Cove,
Cape Bear Lighthouse lays
claim to having
been the first Marconi radio station to have
heard the SOS distress signal from the ill-fated
Titanic in 1912.
Visit the lighthouse, the replica Marconi Station and museum.
If you have a penchant
for art, join one of renowned local artist
Sandy Komst
workshops for a holiday enjoying one of your favorite past-times.
If you have a
taste for good wines, visit
Rossignol Winery and sample the
best
the island has to offer.
